Zeekr 9X Hybrid SUV Debuts at Shanghai 2025

Zeekr has unveiled its flagship 9X luxury SUV at the Shanghai Motor Show, marking the brand's entry into the hybrid segment with its new Super Electric Hybrid (SEH) powertrain. The 9X features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with powerful front and rear electric motors, offering a claimed combined output of up to 898 PS and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just three seconds. It boasts a 900-volt electrical architecture and ultra-fast charging capabilities, allowing a 20-80% battery charge in nine minutes and a pure electric range of over 380 km—claimed to be the longest for any hybrid. The SUV is notable for its luxury design, including a large grille, expansive rear doors, and design cues reminiscent of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, with Zeekr positioning it as an 'ultra luxury' model. Advanced features include adjustable air suspension, 48V active stabilizer bars, and the introduction of the G-Pilot intelligent driving system with Level 3 autonomous capabilities, supported by long-range and short-range LiDAR sensors. The 9X will be offered in both plug-in hybrid and battery electric versions, with the hybrid promising a total range of up to 1500 km.
