The investment round featured prominent backers such as NVIDIA, Applied Ventures, and Foxconn. Rescale aims to enhance its digital engineering platform by integrating artificial intelligence to expedite complex simulations, which traditionally take several days. With AI, the company can provide predictions with 98% accuracy in under a second, allowing engineers to explore design options more efficiently. CEO Joris Poort emphasized that while AI cannot fully replace detailed simulations, it can significantly speed up the design process.
