Woman Injured in Staffordshire Dog Attack

A woman was hospitalized with multiple injuries after being attacked by dogs in her garden on Market Street in Hednesford, Staffordshire, shortly after 1 PM on Friday. She sustained injuries to her arms, legs, and face and was treated on-site by police before being transported to the hospital. A 47-year-old man from Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerously out of control dog and a prohibited breed, with the involved dogs secured by authorities. Emergency services described her injuries as potentially serious, and a cordon was established in the area during the investigation. Chief Insp Matt Walker assured the community that there was no ongoing threat to the public and that police would maintain a presence for reassurance. A dog also injured in the incident was taken to a vet for assessment.
