US Women's Field Hockey Olympic Roster Announced

The United States women's field hockey team has announced its 16-person Olympic roster, which includes several Pennsylvania natives such as Ashley Hoffman, Kelee Lepage, and Karlie Kisha from Twin Valley High School, as well as Phia Gladieux, Meredith Sholder, and the DeBerdine sisters. The team qualified for the Paris Olympics in January by defeating India, Italy, and New Zealand in the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier in Ranchi, India. They will be making their Olympic debut in Paris after missing the Tokyo games and undergoing several coaching changes. The team's pool features Argentina, Australia, Great Britain, Spain, and South Africa, with their first match against Argentina on July 27.
