Helton expressed gratitude to the fans and reflected on his 17-year career, all spent with the Rockies. The event also showcased Helton's Hall of Fame plaque, which will return to Cooperstown. Former Rockies manager Clint Hurdle and a young leukemia survivor joined Helton on the field, adding to the emotional evening.
