Bona and Yook Sungjae to Star in K-drama Gwigoong

BTOB’s Yook Sungjae, WJSN’s Bona, and Kim Ji Hoon are set to star in the upcoming SBS K-drama 'GwiGoong' in 2025. The series, a fantasy historical romantic comedy, features characters like a shaman, an eight-faced spirit, and an Imugi. Sungjae plays Yoon Gap, a royal inspector possessed by an Imugi, while Bona portrays Yeo Ri, a shaman entangled with the supernatural. Kim Ji Hoon takes on the role of King Yi Sung, aiming to strengthen the Joseon Dynasty amidst challenges from the spirit. The drama, directed by Yoon Seong Shik, promises a mix of romance, comedy, and supernatural elements in a historical setting.
