This selection comes as Jude Bellingham received the highest number of votes among all players, while Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk is the only player from outside the Manchester City and Real Madrid contingent. Notably, this year marks the first time since 2006 that Lionel Messi has not been included in the World XI, ending a remarkable streak.
