Southern Indiana Massage Parlor Owner Arrested for Multiple Felonies Including Tax Evasion

Yonghua Fang Thrasher, owner of Asian Massage in Sellersburg, Indiana, was arrested on multiple felony charges following a months-long investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Department of Revenue. The investigation, which began in February 2025 after reports of illegal activities, uncovered an alleged theft of approximately $16,554 to nearly $17,000 in unpaid state and county taxes. Thrasher faces charges including corrupt business influence, two counts of theft, two counts of tax evasion, and failure to allow access to records. An arrest warrant was issued on August 19, and she was arrested without incident on August 20, subsequently being held on a $10,000 full cash bond at Clark County Jail. The case highlights law enforcement’s ongoing efforts to address corrupt business practices and tax evasion in the region. Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 25.
