Craig Finn Announces New Album Always Been, Releases Single

Craig Finn, frontman of The Hold Steady, has announced his sixth solo album, 'Always Been,' set for release on April 4 through Tamarac Recordings/Thirty Tigers. The album, produced by Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs, features guest vocals from Kathleen Edwards and Sam Fender, and is described by Finn as his most narrative work yet, focusing on a clergyman's rise, fall, and redemption. Along with the announcement, Finn has released the lead single 'People of Substance,' showcasing his storytelling prowess and musical collaboration with Granduciel and his band. Finn will support Bob Mould on a North American tour starting in April. The album is available for pre-order, and the full tracklist includes songs such as 'Bethany,' 'Crumbs,' and 'Postcards.'
