Harvey Weinstein, 72, appeared in a New York courtroom on Wednesday to plead not guilty to a new indictment that includes up to three additional sex offenses. The new charges, which remain sealed until Weinstein's arraignment, stem from alleged incidents in the mid-2000s and 2016. Weinstein, who recently underwent emergency heart surgery, was cleared to attend the hearing in person. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office presented the case to a grand jury, which returned the indictment earlier this month.
