Man Arrested After Two Teen Girls Sexually Assaulted Exeter

Two serious sexual assaults occurred near Digby and Sowton Train Station in Exeter on the night of May 9, involving a 16-year-old girl who was raped on Clyst Halt Avenue and a 17-year-old girl who was assaulted on the train platform and again on a train to Exeter St David's. A 19-year-old man from Exeter has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault and remains in police custody.
