Marks & Spencer (M&S) is preparing to launch its first standalone clothing-only store at London's Battersea Power Station this autumn, aiming to attract a younger demographic amidst a resurgence in fashion sales. The boutique-style shop will focus on a curated selection of premium women's and menswear, along with beauty products, and will include personalized styling advice. This strategic shift comes as M&S seeks to reverse years of decline by targeting Gen Z shoppers, who have shown increased interest in their lingerie and knitwear offerings. If the Battersea store proves successful, M&S plans to open additional clothing-only locations across the UK. The initiative is part of a broader strategy under CEO Stuart Machin to enhance the company's market presence and improve overall sales, which have risen for three consecutive years.
