La Máquina Premieres October 9 on Hulu

Disney+ has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming series 'La Máquina,' which premieres on October 9, 2024. The six-episode series stars Gael García Bernal as Esteban 'La Máquina' Osuna, an aging boxer facing life-threatening challenges in the ring and dark forces outside of it, with Diego Luna portraying his devoted manager, Andy Lujan. The narrative follows Esteban's struggle to reclaim his career after a devastating loss, complicated by personal demons and the involvement of a nefarious organization. Eiza González plays his ex-wife, Irasema, who warns him of the impending dangers. This marks the first Spanish-language original series on Hulu, with both Bernal and Luna also serving as executive producers. The series is directed by Gabriel Ripstein, known for his prior works in drama.
