Ta'Mere Robinson Transfers from Penn State to USC

Former Penn State linebacker Ta'Mere Robinson has committed to transfer to USC, where he will have three years of eligibility remaining. Robinson, who was a highly rated recruit but faced injuries early in his career, played in 14 games last season for Penn State, primarily as a reserve and on special teams, finishing with 11 tackles. Despite being considered a candidate for a larger role at Penn State in 2025 due to an open MIKE linebacker spot, Robinson chose to move to the Trojans after a recent campus visit. USC head coach Lincoln Riley has emphasized adding depth to the defense, and Robinson is USC's second transfer portal addition this spring. The move means Robinson will remain in the Big Ten Conference, though USC and Penn State are not scheduled to play each other in 2025.
