Atlanta Falcons Sign Phillip Dorsett to Practice Squad

The Atlanta Falcons have signed veteran wide receiver Phillip Dorsett II to their practice squad, filling a crucial spot following injuries among their receiving corps. Dorsett, who was a first-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2015, brings significant experience, having played for six teams and recorded 151 catches for 2,001 yards and 12 touchdowns over his career. His best season was in 2016, where he amassed 528 receiving yards. Recently, he struggled to make an impact with the Denver Broncos, appearing in three games without a catch. The Falcons also made additional roster adjustments, signing linebacker Rashaan Evans and offensive lineman Tyrone Wheatley Jr., while releasing Coy Cronk and Monty Rice.
