Mac Miller's posthumous album, 'Balloonerism', is set for release on January 17, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of his first posthumous album 'Circles' and just two days before what would have been his 33rd birthday. The album features 14 tracks, including collaborations with SZA on 'DJ’s Chord Organ' and his alter ego Delusional Thomas on 'Transformations'. This project has been significant to Miller, as he had expressed a desire to release it and even commissioned artwork for it before his passing in 2018. The estate emphasized the importance of presenting an official version of 'Balloonerism' to honor Miller's artistry and connection with fans, as unofficial versions have circulated for years. Additionally, a single titled '5 Dollar Pony Rides' will be released on January 9, further building anticipation for the album.
