Polish Volonaut Unveils Jet-Powered Airbike Hovering at 124 MPH

Polish startup Volonaut has unveiled the Airbike, a revolutionary jet-powered hoverbike inspired by Star Wars speeder bikes, capable of flying at speeds up to 124 mph. Designed by Tomasz Patan, the Airbike features a unique rotor-less jet propulsion system combined with a proprietary stabilization system and flight computer that enables automatic hovering and intuitive control. Constructed from carbon fiber and 3D-printed components, the vehicle weighs approximately 39 kg, making it seven times lighter than a typical motorcycle, and offers a 360-degree unobstructed view for the rider. Unlike earlier battery-powered eVTOL prototypes with rotor blades, this version eliminates spinning propellers, allowing for nimble maneuvering through confined spaces and a sense of complete freedom. While no pricing or commercial availability has been announced, the Airbike represents a significant step toward personal flying vehicles and could redefine urban transportation.
