A house in Monrovia was completely destroyed by a fire that may have been triggered by an explosion, with reports indicating that neighbors heard a loud boom around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters responded quickly, battling flames that threatened an adjacent home, which also sustained damage. One individual is currently unaccounted for, possibly a tenant of the destroyed house, as a search is ongoing. The Monrovia Fire Department has called in arson investigators to determine the cause of the fire. A gas line was reported to be still emitting flames at the scene. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries associated with the incident.
