Dale Francis Charged with Murder in Wolverhampton Fire

Dale Francis, a 36-year-old man from Basford, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with murder following a house fire in Wolverhampton that occurred on 25 June, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Akashdeep Singh. In addition to the murder charge, Francis faces four counts of attempted murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life. Singh was hospitalized after the fire but succumbed to his injuries, while others in the house sustained serious injuries. Francis was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court. West Midlands Police announced that Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the conviction of anyone involved in the incident. Only tips submitted anonymously through Crimestoppers will qualify for the reward.
