Saudi Arabian footballer Fahad Al-Muwallad is currently in intensive care after suffering multiple fractures from a fall from the second-floor balcony of his apartment in Dubai. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 12, while Al-Muwallad was alone, as his friends had left hours earlier. He was rushed to Rashid Hospital for treatment, with local authorities confirming that investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident. Al-Muwallad, 30, has had a notable career, having previously played for Al-Ittihad before joining Al-Shabab in 2022, where he has made 38 appearances. His club has expressed concern and wishes him a speedy recovery, while the Saudi sports minister is also closely monitoring the situation. Al-Muwallad has represented Saudi Arabia internationally, including during the 2018 World Cup.
