ZB Importing Recalls Ulker Snacks Over Allergen Mislabeling

ZB Importing LLC has issued a voluntary recall of six varieties of Ulker Brand snack rolls, biscuits, and wafers due to undeclared allergens, specifically wheat, egg, and/or milk, on their labels. This recall affects products distributed in over 30 U.S. states and Canada, posing serious risks for individuals with allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients. The mislabeling was identified following a consumer complaint about an allergic reaction, originating from a supplier's failure to accurately translate the ingredient list. Consumers are advised to return any affected products for a full refund, and the company is working to enhance labeling controls with its supplier. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has also posted the recall for public awareness. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall so far.
