Eli Lilly announced a $1.8 billion investment to expand its manufacturing footprint in Ireland. The Limerick facility's investment is expected to create 150 jobs, increasing total employment to 450, and start production by 2026, pending approval. The Kinsale expansion aims to address shortages of blockbuster drugs like Mounjaro and Zepbound. These moves are expected to support the production of promising new treatments.
