Man Charged Causing Death of Teenager in Leeds Hit-and-Run
Regan Kemp, 26, from St Just in Penzance, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 19-year-old Ashton Kitchen-White in Leeds. The incident occurred on Middleton Ring Road in Beeston Park on May 16, where Ashton was struck by a red Ford Focus as he crossed the road. Kemp is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court and has been remanded in custody. Two other men, Macauley Martin, 26, from Livingston, and Liam Miller, 24, from Polbeth, both in West Lothian, have also been arrested and remain in custody in connection with the incident. Ashton’s family described him as "one in a million" and noted he was about to start his journey to become a doctor at Leeds University. Authorities conducted a public appeal leading to the arrests of Martin and Miller, as the investigation continues.
