Ozzy Osbourne's Signed Guitar Raises £15,000 for Acorns Hospice

An electric guitar signed by rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was auctioned for £15,000 at a charity gala, raising a total of £179,570 for Acorns Children's Hospice. The 2024 Gibson SG, also signed by notable artists like Jack Black and Billy Idol, was sold during an event that featured entertainment inspired by the BBC drama 'This Town.' Acorns Children's Hospice, which supports children with life-limiting conditions across the West Midlands, expressed gratitude for Osbourne's generous donation. The event included a performance by Neville Staple, and the charity's Chief Executive highlighted the significance of the guitar as a symbol of music history. Additionally, Osbourne and Black Sabbath are set to reunite for a fundraising concert in July, with proceeds benefiting Acorns. The hospice operates three centers in Birmingham, Walsall, and Worcester, and has supported over 1,000 families in the past year.
