Hendrick Motorsports Reveals New Livery for Kyle Larson's Double Attempt

Kyle Larson is set to attempt the challenging 'Double' again in 2025, racing in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. This year, Larson will drive the No. 17 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren in the Indy 500 and his usual No. 5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR event. The new paint schemes for both cars, featuring a blend of blue, white, and McLaren's signature orange, were unveiled, signifying a fresh start after a difficult attempt in 2024 due to adverse weather conditions. He aims to become the fifth driver to successfully complete this feat, with a documentary about his experiences in production for Prime Video. Larson's previous Indy 500 performance earned him Rookie of the Year honors, and he is motivated to improve upon last year's results. Rick Hendrick has ensured contingency plans are in place for weather disruptions, including a backup driver for the Indy 500.
