Fourth Harold & Kumar Film Adds Lionsgate President

A fourth 'Harold & Kumar' film is officially in development, written by Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, with Hurwitz and Schlossberg directing. Original franchise stars John Cho and Kal Penn are expected to return, pending finalization of their contracts, while Neil Patrick Harris's participation remains uncertain. The movie is being produced by Lionsgate’s Mandate Pictures with Greg Shapiro and outgoing Lionsgate president Nathan Kahane involved. The plot remains undisclosed, though the creators have hinted at themes involving a new generation while retaining the series' R-rated stoner comedy style. The creative team behind the original film is returning after their recent success with Cobra Kai. No release date has been set for the project.
