Total of 73 Student-Athletes Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recently announced the 2024 National Academic Squad, recognizing student-athletes across various colleges for their academic achievements. A total of 14 athletes from Kean University, six from Saint Joseph's, 21 from Harvard, 21 from Dartmouth, and 11 from James Madison were honored for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Notably, several student-athletes from Dartmouth and Harvard achieved this recognition for all four years of their collegiate careers. This year's selections included 1,097 student-athletes from over 80 institutions, with Brown, Monmouth, and Villanova leading with 22 selections each. The NFHCA will also announce its Scholars of Distinction and National Academic Team awards in the coming weeks, further highlighting the academic excellence in collegiate field hockey.
