Arizona Cardinals Sign St. Louis Battlehawks OL Dohnovan West

The Arizona Cardinals have signed offensive lineman Dohnovan West, who previously played in the United Football League (UFL) with the St. Louis Battlehawks and in the XFL with the Vegas Vipers. West, a 6-3, 296-pound lineman, played collegiately at Arizona State from 2019-21, earning Second Team All-Pac 12 honors in 2021, and initially entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. In the UFL, West appeared in every game for the Battlehawks in 2025, starting six and participating in the conference championship game, while also showcasing versatility by playing both guard and center positions. The Battlehawks finished strong during West's tenure, reaching the XFL Conference Championship game in 2025. Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon praised West's strength and work ethic, emphasizing the team's intent to get him up to speed and contribute depth to their offensive line. West is among several Battlehawks players to secure NFL contracts this offseason, highlighting the UFL as a valuable platform for players aiming to advance to the NFL.
