Former Celtic, Lyon, and Fulham striker Moussa Dembele has acquired Lithuanian second-tier football club FK Minija through Triple M Sports Investments Limited, the investment group in which he is a director. Triple M also owns the Malian club AS Mansa, and Dembele's involvement is seen by the club's CEO as a significant step toward professionalizing both FK Minija and Lithuanian football more broadly. Dembele, who currently plays for Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, remains an active player and is recovering from an Achilles tendon injury. His football career includes winning two Scottish Premiership titles with Celtic, notable Champions League performances, and a stint with Atletico Madrid during their LaLiga-winning season. The acquisition was announced by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, highlighting Dembele's growing interests in football management and investment.
