The Grade I listed property, featuring 48 guest rooms and extensive parkland, was unable to generate sufficient revenue. Leonard Curtis is working to ensure an orderly wind-down, including communication with guests and handling of essential costs to limit impact. The future of the hotel remains uncertain as it is not owned by Stapleford Park Limited, which traded the hotel.
