Ford Trucks, IVECO Sign Joint Development Agreement for Heavy-Duty Truck Cabin

Ford Trucks and IVECO have formally signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to co-develop a new heavy-duty truck cabin, transitioning from a previously established Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration aims to create a modular cabin that complies with the forthcoming EU Direct Vision Standard, enhancing safety and aerodynamics while reducing carbon emissions. Both companies will produce and market the cabins under their respective brands, focusing on driver comfort, cost efficiency, and compatibility with various powertrains. The initiative represents an investment of €343 million, with the first production-ready cabins expected by 2028.
