Firstsource Opens ANZ HQ, AI Lab in Melbourne, Creating 400 Jobs

Firstsource Solutions has officially opened its Australia and New Zealand headquarters in Melbourne, along with a dedicated AI Innovation Lab, aligning with the Victorian Government's Economic Growth Statement that promotes digital technology as a driver of job and economic growth. The new facility will serve as a hub for specialized service operations and is expected to create over 400 jobs in the region over the next five years. The AI Innovation Lab will focus on responsible AI adoption, conducting research in areas like AI, engineering, and robotics while collaborating with local universities to foster talent. Chairman Sanjiv Goenka emphasized the importance of this expansion as Firstsource transitions from traditional outsourcing to an AI-driven model. Victorian Minister for Economic Growth Danny Pearson praised the initiative, highlighting Victoria's strong tech ecosystem and skilled workforce.
