Girlfriend tied up in wheelchair

Tony L. Charboneau, 36, has been charged with the first-degree murder of his ex-girlfriend Amy Hogue, 43, after allegedly assaulting her, restraining her in a wheelchair, and fatally shooting her in June. According to police, Charboneau and his new girlfriend, Brandi Luffy, used ratchet straps to bind Hogue before transporting her to a wooded area where Charboneau dug a grave and executed her. Following the murder, the couple attempted to cover up their crime by burning evidence and disposing of Hogue's belongings in a river. Luffy has reportedly confessed to her involvement and helped police locate Hogue's remains. Both suspects are being held on $1 million bond each, facing multiple charges including murder, kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.
