State Route 88 Closures for Paving Project

State Route 88 in Arizona will experience periodic closures for a paving project starting this Tuesday, affecting an 11-mile stretch between Apache Lake and the Roosevelt Dam. The Arizona Department of Transportation has scheduled 48-hour closures weekly and one 72-hour closure in late April; the project is part of an $18 million initiative begun in 2022 to improve pavement and drainage. In Maryland, Broadfording Road will close for two weeks starting April 7, impacting the area between Rockdale Road and Spickler Road. Albany, Georgia will see the south end of Broad Avenue alley temporarily closed from April 7-11 for building maintenance. In New York, portions of eastbound Sunrise Highway will be closed overnight for about a month for median installation. In British Columbia, the Fraser Highway in Surrey is closed for SkyTrain construction, marking a significant milestone for the project.
