AICT Plans Global HQ, IPO in Hong Kong

Elior Group, a French aeronautic services company, is set to establish its Asia headquarters in Hong Kong, aiming to transform the city into Asia's first aircraft parts processing and trading hub. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Airport Authority to explore services such as aircraft dismantling, parts recycling, and local talent training. Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Algernon Yau, emphasized that Hong Kong's strategic position as a gateway between China and the rest of the world enhances its appeal to international businesses. Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po also highlighted the city's commitment to developing its aviation sector and attracting global enterprises. The initiative is seen as a testament to the increasing global business confidence in Hong Kong's market. Elior Group's expansion underscores the city’s potential as a dynamic aviation center.
