Kevin Harlan, Brent Barry Join Amazon Prime NBA Broadcasts
Amazon Prime Video is set to become a major broadcaster for the 2025-26 NBA season, replacing TNT after the latter failed to secure a new contract. The streaming service has assembled a star-studded commentary team, including veteran play-by-play announcers Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle, Michael Grady, and Eric Collins, the beloved voice of the Charlotte Hornets, now gaining a national platform. Analysts joining the broadcast include former players and coaches such as Brent Barry, Stan Van Gundy, Blake Griffin, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Candace Parker, and Dwyane Wade. Amazon plans to use a flexible broadcasting format, mixing two- and three-person booths rather than fixed pairings, to maximize the use of its extensive talent pool across a broad game schedule. New sideline reporters Kristina Pink and Allie Clifton, who made history as the first female Lakers color analyst, will also join the coverage. This transition marks a significant shift in NBA broadcasting and offers fans a fresh and dynamic viewing experience on streaming platforms.
