Seven Named to Madden NFL 26 99 Club

EA Sports has announced the Madden NFL 26 '99 Club', featuring seven elite players awarded the game's top rating, the largest group at launch to date. The club includes Saquon Barkley and Lane Johnson from the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, with Johnson becoming the first Eagles offensive lineman to earn this distinction. Barkley, noted for his record-breaking season and selection as the Madden 26 cover athlete, leads the group. Other members are quarterbacks Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) and Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens), wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals) and Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings), and defensive end Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns). The expanded list has sparked debate, especially over notable omissions such as Patrick Mahomes and T.J. Watt. Madden NFL 26 is set for release on August 14, with early access for pre-orders.
