Former Steelers Players Join UFL for 2025 Season

Several former Pittsburgh Steelers players are making moves to the United Football League (UFL) for the upcoming 2025 season. Offensive lineman Jarron Jones has signed with the Birmingham Stallions after spending time with the Steelers and USFL's Memphis Showboats, where he earned All-USFL honors. Kellen Diesch joins the Arlington Renegades, looking to leverage his athleticism to potentially return to the NFL after stints with multiple teams, including the Titans and Browns. Meanwhile, wide receiver Tyler Vaughns is also returning to the Renegades for his third UFL season, where he aims to build on his successful previous year that saw him rank as the league's fourth-leading receiver. Vaughns originally impressed with the Steelers during the 2022 preseason but has faced challenges in securing a permanent NFL spot. All players will be competing for recognition as the UFL season kicks off on March 28, 2025.
