Min Hee-jin has officially stepped down as CEO of Ador, the label behind K-pop group NewJeans, with Kim Joo-young appointed as her successor. Ador announced this change on August 27, stating that Kim, an HR expert with diverse industry experience, will focus on stabilizing and restructuring the organization. Although Min will no longer serve as CEO, she will remain an internal director and continue her producing duties for NewJeans. The company is also restructuring to separate production and management, a strategy already employed by other labels under its parent company, HYBE. This organizational change aims to better support the growth and success of NewJeans, while aligning Ador's operations with its multi-label principles.
