Mark Teixeira, a Georgia Tech baseball legend and three-time MLB All-Star, has been selected for induction into the 2024 National College Baseball Hall of Fame. Teixeira, who was a standout player at Georgia Tech, earned numerous accolades including the 2000 Dick Howser Trophy and the 2000 ACC Player of the Year, finishing his college career with a .409 batting average and 36 home runs. He is one of only three Yellow Jackets to have his number retired and joins fellow inductees including Mike Fox from North Carolina and MLB legends such as Roger Clemens and Mike Schmidt. The induction ceremony will take place on February 13, 2025, in Overland Park, Kansas, as part of the Night of Champions.
