Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll hit his 20th and 21st home runs of the season in a game against the Colorado Rockies, becoming only the 11th player in MLB history to achieve two or more 20-20 seasons by age 23. Carroll's impressive performance has turned around a sluggish start, where he batted just .210 before July but has since hit 19 homers and stolen 14 bases. He is now a candidate for becoming the first player in Diamondbacks history to record consecutive 20-30 seasons, currently sitting at 29 steals. In addition, Carroll's 14 triples lead the league, tying a franchise record for triples in a single season. His contributions have been pivotal in the Diamondbacks' push for the postseason following the All-Star break.
