Giovanni Pernice's TV Return on Celebrity Hunted

Giovanni Pernice, a former professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, is set to return to British TV after being involved in a BBC investigation concerning allegations of bullying by his former dance partner Amanda Abbington. The investigation cleared him of ten out of sixteen allegations, but some complaints of verbal harassment were upheld, leading to his departure from the show. Pernice will now appear on Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted, a reality series where celebrities attempt to evade capture by a team of hunters for 14 days to win a prize for Stand Up To Cancer. Despite the controversy, Pernice's participation in Celebrity Hunted marks his return to UK television alongside other celebrities, including fellow dancer Kai Widdrington. The show was initially filmed in 2022 but was delayed due to the investigation, and is now scheduled to air in early 2025.
