Borussia Dortmund Defeats Shakhtar 3-1, Advances to Champions League Playoffs

Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-1 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, ending a five-match winless streak. Serhou Guirassy was instrumental, scoring two goals, including a deflected effort that opened the scoring in the 17th minute. Despite a mistake by goalkeeper Gregor Kobel that allowed Shakhtar to pull one back, Ramy Bensebaini sealed the win with a goal in the final minutes. The victory, however, was not enough for automatic qualification to the knockout stages, as Dortmund finished 10th in the group and will now face Club Brugge or Sporting Lisbon in the playoffs.
