Philadelphia Fort Lauderdale Men Charged Child Sexual Abuse Material Possession Distribution

Two men were charged in separate cases for possession, distribution, and production of child sexual abuse material. Abdiel Mendoza, 31, in Philadelphia, was found with child sexual abuse material and a 170-page guide on how to engage in sexual relationships with children, following an investigation by the state's Child Predator Section. In Fort Lauderdale, Ian Zachary Adams, 29, was indicted for creating anonymous social media profiles to upload and share child sexual abuse material depicting children aged 2 to 16, including a screen recording of a 10-year-old child coerced into sexually explicit conduct during a video chat. Adams faces multiple federal charges and is under house arrest with GPS monitoring. These cases highlight ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat child exploitation online, including collaborations with federal initiatives like Project Safe Childhood. Both defendants have pled not guilty and their cases are ongoing.
