NYC Midtown Shooting Kills Officer, 3 Civilians, Causes Family Medical Emergencies

Didarul Islam, a 33- to 36-year-old NYPD officer and private security guard, was tragically killed during a mass shooting on July 28, 2025, at a Midtown Manhattan office building on Park Avenue.
