Flavor Flav Launches Fundraiser for Displaced Black Families in L.A.

Flavor Flav has launched a fundraiser to support Black families displaced by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, partnering with GoFundMe and the Black Music Action Coalition. The initiative aims to streamline assistance by creating a single GoFundMe campaign to distribute funds to those affected by the Eaton Fire in Pasadena and Altadena. In an Instagram video, Flav emphasized the need for increased support for the Black community, stating that not enough is being done to help these families. The campaign has already raised nearly $40,000, with a goal of reaching $100,000, and funds will be allocated to over 700 families listed in a community directory. Other artists, including André 3000, have also contributed by releasing music to benefit those impacted by the wildfires. The ongoing crisis has left many homeless and resulted in significant destruction across the region.
