KPMG Women’s PGA Debuts Record $12M Purse, Expands Youth Golf Across 10 Markets

The 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is making history as the first major held at the PGA of America’s new headquarters in Frisco, Texas, a $50 million facility featuring championship golf courses and a resort. The event boasts a record $12 million purse, tied for the highest in women's golf this year, reflecting KPMG’s significant investment and long-term commitment to the sport. Alongside the tournament, the PGA of America and KPMG are launching a youth initiative to fund 10 new PGA Jr. League sites across host markets, including North Texas, aimed at providing free access to golf instruction, equipment, and transportation for underserved youth. The PGA Jr. League, known for its inclusive team format for players 17 and under, had over 77,000 participants nationwide in 2024 and is supported by the PGA REACH Foundation’s scholarships for financially needy and military-connected children.
