Seven Arrested After $1M San Ramon Jewelry Heist

On September 22, 2025, a mob of roughly 20–30 masked, black‑clad suspects stormed Heller Jewelers at the Bishop Ranch City Center in San Ramon, smashing display cases with crowbars and pickaxes and seizing about $1 million in merchandise. Police say at least three guns were present and one suspect fired multiple rounds to break a security glass door; no customers or staff were reported injured. Investigators say the suspects arrived in six vehicles parked in the valet area about 100 feet from the entrance, and officers used surveillance footage, bystander video and a drone to follow them as they fled.
