Malique Ewin scores 24, FSU defeats Miami 74-66

Florida State University (FSU) secured a 74-66 victory over the Miami Hurricanes, marking their 14th win in the last 15 meetings between the two teams. Malique Ewin shone for FSU, scoring a career-high 24 points on 10 of 10 shooting, while Jamir Watkins added 16 points, largely from the free-throw line. The game was tight, tied at halftime, but FSU pulled away in the second half, outscoring Miami 43-35. Despite Miami's Lynn Kidd and Matthew Cleveland each scoring 14 points, the Hurricanes struggled from the three-point line, finishing 4 of 19. FSU coach Leonard Hamilton celebrated his 199th ACC regular-season win, as the Seminoles improved to 16-10 and 7-8 in conference play. Miami, now at 6-20, continues to face challenges, especially on the road, where they remain winless this season.
