CNH Signs Satellite Connectivity Deal with Starlink for Global Farm Fleets

CNH Industrial has signed an agreement with Starlink, a subsidiary of SpaceX, to provide high-speed satellite connectivity to farmers using CNH brands such as Case IH, New Holland, and STEYR. This collaboration aims to enhance precision agriculture by enabling reliable, low-latency internet access in remote rural areas, allowing smart farming machines to communicate and coordinate more effectively. The connectivity will integrate with CNH’s FieldOps digital platform, offering farmers real-time visibility of their machinery and improved data streaming capabilities. A key application is in prescription spraying, where rapid data transmission enables earlier and more precise crop protection, particularly in connectivity-challenged markets like Brazil. CNH's Agriculture Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano Pampalone, emphasized the partnership's role in maximizing the potential of precision technology even in challenging environments.
